1. About MEB
My Engineering Buddy (MEB) is a private online tutoring service founded in 2008 (originally as My Physics Buddy) and rebranded in 2011. We are operated by BlueAura iSolutions Private Limited, incorporated in India in March 2015. We serve students across North America (USA, Canada), UK, Australia, and the Middle East (Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman, Jordan, and other Gulf countries).
As of March 2026, MEB has served 52,000+ students, delivered 150,000+ tutoring sessions, and maintains a 97% satisfaction rate across a team of 1,000+ verified tutors. Our primary service is private 1:1 online tutoring. Academic guidance on homework, essays, lab reports, and projects is provided within tutoring sessions, framed as learning support in accordance with our Academic Integrity Policy.
For a full overview of our track record, guarantees, and why students choose MEB, see Why Choose My Engineering Buddy. For tutoring methodology and how sessions work, see Our Tutoring Methodology.

2. Editorial Guidelines & Content Standards
We are committed to publishing educational content that is accurate, clear, practical, and genuinely helpful for students and parents in North America and the Middle East.
2.1 Content Creation & Review Process
Every blog post, article, guide, or tutorial on MEB follows this process:
Topic Selection
- Based on real student questions, tutoring sessions, common struggles, and evolving curriculum standards
- Priority given to high-demand topics (SAT/ACT prep, AP exam guides, engineering problem-solving)
- Regional relevance considered (US state curricula, Canadian province standards, GCC educational norms)
Research & Drafting
- Authors research using multiple credible sources: official exam boards (College Board, Cambridge International, IB), university and college websites, government education ministry documentation, peer-reviewed academic resources, and real-world tutoring experience
- Drafts include clear student-friendly explanations, step-by-step problem-solving techniques, relevant examples, tips and common mistakes to avoid, and regional context where applicable
Fact-Checking & Editorial Review
- A second qualified person (editor, senior tutor, or subject expert) reviews factual accuracy, alignment with current exam syllabi, clarity for the target audience, and completeness
- Changes are required before publication
- Disputed facts are cross-checked against multiple sources
Approval & Publication
- Articles are only published after explicit approval
- Author name, credentials, and qualifications prominently displayed
- “Last Updated” date clearly shown
- Source links and citations provided where applicable
- Keywords and meta descriptions optimised for clarity, not manipulation
Post-Publication Monitoring
- Popular or exam-related content reviewed quarterly
- Reader feedback monitored for errors or outdated information
- Seasonal updates made (updated exam dates, new curriculum guidelines)
- Corrections implemented promptly — see Section 4
2.2 Expertise & Author Standards
For all content:
- Authors must have relevant educational qualifications (Bachelor’s degree minimum in the subject area)
- Minimum 3–5+ years of professional teaching or tutoring experience
- Verifiable credentials (LinkedIn profile, institutional affiliation, or subject certifications)
- Author bio includes: name, photo, years of experience, subject specialisation, and contact or social profile
For high-stakes content (exam guides, curriculum explanations, career advice):
- Senior reviewer must be a recognised subject expert with formal teaching credentials
- Content cross-referenced against official exam board specifications or government curriculum documents
- Published with explicit disclaimer that this is guidance, not official policy
For advanced or specialised topics (engineering branches, upper-level mathematics, professional courses):
- Authors may need a Master’s degree or professional certification in the field
- Real-world professional experience preferred
- Peer review from someone with equivalent expertise required
2.3 Accuracy & Independence
- Explanations and recommendations are intended to be impartial and educational
- Recommendations for external tools, platforms, or textbooks are based on genuine usefulness and student demand, not payment or commercial arrangements
- Sponsored Content: If content involves a commercial relationship, it is clearly labelled “SPONSORED” at the top
- Affiliate Links: Marked with [Affiliate Link] at the point of mention; never presented as an objective recommendation
- Independence: MEB receives no payments from exam boards, textbook publishers, or tutoring platforms for favourable mentions
3. Disclaimer & Limitations of Use
The content on this website is provided for general educational purposes only.
3.1 Educational, Not Official or Professional Advice
Our articles, tutorials, and explanations:
- Are NOT official curriculum documents, exam board statements, or government policy
- Are NOT substitutes for advice from your school, college, or academic advisor; guidance from licensed professionals; or official exam board and government education ministry guidance
- Are written for a broad audience and do NOT account for your specific personal situation, learning needs, disabilities, or local school policies
- Reflect general educational principles and common best practices, but may not apply universally
3.2 No Guarantee of Outcomes
While our tutors and writers strive to deliver excellent educational support, we cannot guarantee specific grades or exam scores, admission to particular schools or universities, success in standardised tests, or improvement in academic performance. Your results depend on many factors beyond our control, including your starting knowledge level, time and effort invested, quality of self-study, external circumstances, and tutor-student compatibility.
3.3 Regional Differences & Verification
Curricula, grading systems, exam formats, and educational requirements vary significantly across US states, Canadian provinces, Middle Eastern countries, and university systems. We do our best to make content broadly applicable, but you must always verify exact requirements with your school or university, official exam board websites, and local education authorities.
3.4 Your Use at Your Own Risk
By using our website and content, you agree that you use all information at your own risk, that we are not liable for any adverse outcomes from relying on our content, and that you assume responsibility for verifying information with official sources before making major academic decisions.
4. Corrections & Updates Policy
We aim to keep our content accurate and current, especially for exam dates, formats, curriculum information, and academic guidance.
4.1 Reporting Errors or Outdated Information
If you believe you have found an error, outdated information, or something unclear, contact us at meb@myengineeringbuddy.com with the subject line “Content Correction Request – [Article Title]”, or via WhatsApp at +91 8971 383660, or via our contact form.
Please include the article title and URL, the specific section or quote you believe is incorrect, the error in detail, your suggested correction or authoritative source, and your name and country (optional).
4.2 Our Review & Response Process
- Within 1–2 business days: We acknowledge your correction request and assign it to a relevant subject expert
- Within 2–5 business days: The subject expert reviews the content against authoritative sources and determines whether correction is needed
- Within 5–7 business days: If correction is confirmed, the article is updated. If no correction is needed, we respond explaining why we believe the content is accurate
All corrections are made publicly. We do not quietly change content without notification. A visible “Updated on [Date]” note is added to the article. For significant corrections, we add a correction notice box at the top of the article explaining what was changed, why, the source reference, date of correction, and the person who verified it.
Example correction notice format:
✎ CORRECTION (Updated March 25, 2026)
ORIGINAL: “SAT exam is offered in March, May, August, and October”
CORRECTED: “SAT exam is typically offered in August, October, November, December, March, and May (dates vary yearly)”
SOURCE: College Board Official Testing Calendar 2025-26
VERIFIED BY: [Editor Name], Education Content Lead
4.3 Update Frequency
- High-traffic or exam content: Reviewed quarterly; updated when curriculum or exam format changes
- Time-sensitive content (exam dates, application deadlines): Updated immediately when official changes are announced
- General educational content: Reviewed annually; updated for clarity or corrections as needed
We reserve the right to modify, update, archive, or remove content that is demonstrably inaccurate, outdated, no longer aligned with our editorial standards, or superseded by more comprehensive resources.
5. Grievance & Feedback
We welcome feedback, complaints, and suggestions from students, parents, tutors, and educators. Our full grievance process — including what you can file a grievance about, how to escalate, your rights, and external authorities you can contact — is documented in detail on our Policies page under Grievance Process.
To file a grievance: email meb@myengineeringbuddy.com with subject “GRIEVANCE”, WhatsApp +91 8971 383660, or escalate to pankaj@myengineeringbuddy.com for senior review.
6. Privacy & Data Protection
A full explanation of what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we protect it, your data rights (including GDPR and CCPA), and our cookie policy is available in our dedicated Privacy Policy.
In summary: we collect only the data necessary to provide tutoring services. We do not sell your data to third parties. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing meb@myengineeringbuddy.com with the subject “Data Deletion Request.”

We may grant limited licences for appropriate educational purposes. Fees or attribution requirements may apply.
7.3 User-Generated Content
If you submit reviews, testimonials, comments, or feedback on our platform or social media, you remain the owner of your words and grant us permission to display and use your feedback in testimonials or for internal improvement. 8. Terms of Use & Service Limitations
8.1 Appropriate Use of Our Platform
By accessing and using myengineeringbuddy.com, you agree not to attempt to hack, disrupt, or harm the website; not to misuse support channels through spam or harassment; not to scrape or bulk-download our content; not to impersonate others or create fake accounts; not to use the site for illegal purposes; not to publish others’ private information without consent; and to respect intellectual property rights.
8.2 Tutoring Service Limitations
Our tutoring services are provided by individual human tutors who are subject experts but not infallible. Outcomes vary and depend partly on student engagement and effort. Sessions require a stable internet connection, a compatible device, and access to Google Meet or a similar video platform. Availability varies by tutor and time zone. Services may be limited by technical issues or unforeseen circumstances.
8.3 No Endorsement
We link to external websites (exam boards, universities, resources) for informational purposes only. We do not endorse or guarantee the quality or accuracy of external sites. Users access external sites at their own risk.
8.4 Refunds & Cancellations
Our full refund and cancellation policy, including specific scenarios and response commitments, is documented on our Policies page under Refund & Money-Back Policy and our dedicated Refund Policy page. In summary: we offer a money-back guarantee backed personally by our founder. Contact us within 24 hours of a session if you are dissatisfied.
9. Regional Considerations: North America & Middle East
9.1 Serving Your Region
Because our primary students are from North America (USA, Canada) and the Middle East (GCC countries), we pay special attention to:
- Time Zone Scheduling: Coordinating tutors across EST, CST, MST, PST (North America) and GST (Middle East)
- Curriculum Alignment: Knowledge of US state standards, Canadian provincial curricula, IB programmes (common in Middle East), and local school systems
- Exam Preparation: Familiarity with SAT, ACT, AP, A-Level, IB, EmSAT, and regional exam patterns
- Cultural Sensitivity: Tutors trained to respect cultural differences and adapt teaching styles
- Language: English proficiency across all tutors; some tutors are multilingual (Arabic, Hindi, etc.)
9.2 What We Are Not
MEB is not an official government or education body in any country. We are not licensed or accredited by any single state, province, or country. We cannot provide personalised advice for immigration, professional licensing, or major life decisions. For critical decisions — university applications, professional certification, major exam strategy — you must consult official university admissions offices, exam board websites (College Board, Cambridge, IB Organisation), your school or college guidance counsellor, or licensed professionals in your field.
